We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at our nursing home facility in Far Rockaway, NY. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the ADON will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our nursing department. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage paperwork and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
– Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
– Oversee and review documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Requirements:
– Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
– Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in long-term care nursing.
– Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
– Flexibility to work a 9-5 schedule with the possibility of some flexibility as needed.
